Hannah Johnston
Hometown: Auburn, AL
Major: Public Relations

"Chi O has never been my identity, but a vessel God used to bless me with more than I could have ever imaged. Chi O has shaped my four years at Auburn into more than I could have asked for. I have been refined, pushed, celebrated, and loved way more than I deserve and been given friends that are forever."

About Hannah (submitted by Lauren):
Hannah Johnston--ohhhh what a lady! It is a privilege to get to honor Hannah with words, but, my goodness, it's a difficult thing to find words worthy enough to describe her! She really does deserve the highest form of admiration. Hannah is a lover of the Lord, of life and of the people in it. She is fiercely loyal. Hannah has shown me companionship and steadfastness to a degree that I didn't know could exist. Hannah thrives in wandering--she has a heart for the nations and for travel. She pursues the things she loves, and does so with her whole heart in it. She fights for the name of the Lord to be glorified in the way that she lives and in all of the things she commits her time to! With that being said, she is a BOSS LADY. The woman gets the job done and looks real good doin' it--one of the sassiest human beings I know! I speak on behalf of myself and all else who know Hannah J, when I say, I'm super duper blessed by her friendship. There is none other like you. You da realest HJ baby!

What advice do you have for all those going through recruitment this upcoming week?
Know your identity. Don't look to be defined by Greek letters--know where your worth comes from. Be yourself!

What is your guilty pleasure?
NAPPING!!! Or shopping!

Where is the coolest place you've ever been?
Sydney, Australia...AAAMMAZZIINNGG!! Sydney was beautiful. I went for a month in December to surf because it's their summer so the waves were perfect! The weather, the people, the fashion, ALL OF IT just amazing! Seeing the Sydney Opera House was a dream...too cool for words really! I took trains all over Australia, celebrated New Years, and played with koala bears! I would go back in a heartbeat!

Who is your role model?
My role model is my mom. What a woman!! She's a prayer warrior, shows unconditional love and gives so generously.
