"Looking back on my time in Chi Omega, it has been all about moments, big and small. From spontaneous dance parties on the hall, to sitting on a porch with a friend talking about the future, to just spending class breaks with each other in the Student Center--all those little moments have added up to deep friendships that I will treasure for the rest of my life."

About Courtney (submitted by Grayson):
Courtney is 100% herself all the time, and it couldn't be more refreshing because she is unlike anyone you'll ever meet. Her interests include Chinese, hip-hop, and Disney. She is a steadfast friend. One of her greatest gifts is her ability to be present. She is always there when you need her. That includes having an ear to listen, advice to give, or just being down for an ice cream run. Courtney is currently one of the co-captains of AU Rhythm, Auburn's hip-hop dance troupe with this being her third and final year dancing for them. She most recently competed and won second place in the Chinese Bridge competition in Dallas, Texas, against 14 other college students, which included a written exam, oral speech, and talent portion.

What are your plans following graduation?
Following graduation, I will actually be spending a year in East Asia with CRU [Campus Crusades]. I am very excited about this opportunity to share the gospel in a country where many people have never even heard the name of Jesus. It is a really cool chance to engage in the Great Commission.

What is your favorite Disney movie of all-time?
It's so hard to pick just one! I love Disney movies. If I was going to pick only one, I would have to say "Peter Pan." I love how the whole movie is one big adventure, and I always have wanted to be able to fly. "Peter Pan" was a go-to, sick-day movie for me growing up.

You were recently in a music video for choreographer Matt Steffanina. Can you tell us a little about that experience?
Wow. That was one of the coolest experiences of my life. I love hip-hop, and Matt Steffanina is one of my favorite choreographers. I follow him on Instagram, and the Tuesday of that week he posted saying that he would be teaching in Orlando and holding auditions. I could not pass that opportunity up, so I called two of my dance friends. We left Auburn that Friday and drove straight to the studio. We took his classes and auditioned afterward. (We were dancing for 6 hours straight.) None of us expected to book the video, but we all got a text that night saying we had! We learned the routine all the next day and filmed it that night. It was incredible. I've never gotten to dance like that with so many talented dancers around me.

What is your dream job?
My dream job is not that realistic, but if I could do anything in the world, I would want to be a Justin Bieber backup dancer. I would get to dance all the time in front of huge crowds. That would be amazing.
